Steve Jobs Resigns As CEO Of Apple

So finally Steve Jobs is jobless.He has atlast said iResign to appleInc.This shocking news came on wednesday when Steve Jobs announced his resignation as CEO of the company.Steve Jobs, who was the heart and soul of the apple, has finally left the company after making it the most valuable company in the world.Although he has not completely left the company as he will be around as the company board’s Chairman.Steve Jobs,the most powerful man of the Silicon Valley, has been replaced by Tim Cook,the most powerful gay man in Silicon Valley.

Steve wrote the following letter to Apple’s Board of Directors,as posted on Apple blog.

To the Apple Board of Directors and the Apple Community:

I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.

I hereby resign as CEO of Apple. I would like to serve, if the Board sees fit, as Chairman of the Board, director and Apple employee.

As far as my successor goes, I strongly recommend that we execute our succession plan and name Tim Cook as CEO of Apple.

I believe Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.I have made some of the best friends of my life at Apple, and I thank you all for the many years of being able to work alongside you.

His resignation came because of the issues he was having regarding his health,such as liver transplant and pancreatic cancer.He is currently one of the most influential people in the world and the world will always look up to him when it comes to innovation,creativity and leadership.
